I’ve built my side hustle into a successful business after leaving a 6-figure, breadwinning job from a Fortune 500 company to do what I love and do it often.I leaped right after having my 2nd child, Raina (talk about crazy timing)! The truth is it wasn’t always easy, but I promise you, it was worth it!
Previous to taking the leap , I worked in Financial Services for over 13+ years in branding, business development and strategy for multi-billion dollar company and was vying to be a Chief Marketing Officer, all while having my side hustle business strategy practice for over 7 years. Everything changed for me 3 years ago when I had a pulmonary embolism (blood clot) in between both of my children and almost died 2xs in one week. I knew life was too short and I had to lead the life that I was craving to lead--but had to take the risk to make it happen.

I am far from a Corporate basher, as I climbed the ladder fast, learned so many skills, and even won a prestigious industry award of being one of the top rising stars in Financial Services marketing. I got to ring the Nasdaq closing bell (a huge honor, that I will never forget) and have accomplished a ton, but there came a point that I was just wasn’t fulfilled anymore.
